Paratrooper of german 1st Fallschirmjäger-Division. As we can see the soldier has already been searched and the compulsive Hitler photo is also at hand.

By the extension of the injuries looks like he was killed by an explosion, a granade maybe. Poor fellow.

FTG; Got it. Repost! Viewers note pics next to subject of Adolf and what look like portrait photos of subject wearing peaked hat. Wound does look like it could be a severe burn effect. RIP.
