This is my first post on this forum, I stumbled across it a few days ago whilst looking for information about the Simmering diesel engine proposed for the Tiger II and Panther and was astonished by the expertise present on this forum. I was thus hoping that somebody here might be able to answer a question for me. According to Small wonder; the amazing story of the Volkswagen by Walter Henry Nelson (1955) an effort was made to standardise the automobiles in production for the German forces in 1944, the vehicles selected consisted of two motorcycles, one passenger car, and nine trucks, does anybody know which vehicles those selected actually were?
