German POW post war question.

I just finished reading “As Far As My Feet Will Carry Me”, which is the incredible story of a German POW, sentenced to 25 years hard labor in a lead mine in Siberia after the war, who escapes and after over three years, finds his way back to Germany. I highly recommend reading this book as I found it very hard to put down. Anyways, I’m curious to know as to what percentage of German POWS held by the Soviet Union, ever made it back to Germany. I can find stats on the soldiers taken POW at Stalingrad, but I’m more curious about all German POW’s. I’m not having much luck finding any info on the internet and figured someone here would have a good link. Thanks for any help.
