I don’t think the Parachutes back then were camouflage-patterned. This is more likely a cut-out piece of a poncho.
Most likely parachute material,you can see it has been cut irregularly .
Camouflage-patterned were principaly used by the Marines in the Pacific, it seems to me that pancho’s camouflaging were not patterned in Europe.
Why not SS camo ? From a Zeltbann, or a camo chest.
