Written by Richard E. Overton, A corpsman writes ,with amazing detail, about his time on Iwo Jima. I got this book one day because I was in a book a store not looking for anything particular, saw it, thought “well its better than not having anything to read at all”. I was blown away! Definitly ranks near the top of my all time best list!
