US tanker Ohio hidden by the sub Axum, august 1942. Heavily damaged and several times hidden during the battle, the tanker Ohio was one of the few cargos able to get Malta at the end of the "Middle August battle" (or "operation Pedestal"). She suddenly sank in the Malta's harbor when the most of the strategic load was already descharged. A demonstration of skill and dedication by her crew. DVX
