Schwerer Panzerspähwagen (heavy armoured scout car) Sd.Kfz. 234/4 with 7,5cm Pak 40. (Title and caption changed)
This is a SDKFZ 234/4 armed with a PAK 40 75mm AT gun a total of about 90 were built in 44 and 45. The Puma was the SDKFZ 234/2 and had a conventional turret (this vehicle is open topped). Other versions of the SDKFZ 234 were the /1 with a 20mm and the /3 with the 75mm L/24.
Were they able to traverse the gun much, or did they just have to aim the whole vehicle?
bradleyl30… Traverse for the 75mm. gun was only 12 degrees left and right. Elevation was minus 3 degrees and plus 22 degrees. Despite these limitations, the vehicle still packed considerable antitank capability for an armored car.
