what is the story behind rudolf hess???
i know he left germany and his plane crashed in England but thats about it.
why did he leave Nazi Germany???

The official story the British government first published, is that Hess hoped to use his former accquantance with a few British leaders to start negotiations between Germany & Britian. Churchill & the others of the government had no interest in a armistice or peace, so they locked Hess away.
