Interesting context.Figure in the background wearing "fore and aft " cap so post liberation? British or perhaps when more in focus Russian ? Inmate chosen for height ? Or is the other in a terench ? Curiously no crowd so perhaps part of the clear up or forced "witnessing " post liberation. Armband and rifle type anyone ? So many questions and a source woukld be useful. Good luck gentlemen.
