Hungarian Bf-109 Fighter Planes

As the Axis withdrawal continued, the planes of the RHAF dwindled down in number more and more, and when production of these German-designed planes was increased in the Hungarian city of Gyor, fuel shortages often caused additional problems. Here two ME-109 fighters, with Hungarian tail colors, are shown on the Eastern front, during the winter of 1943-1944.
