Paul M: Yes, they appear to be infantry officers, wearing ceremonial swords for this special occasion, which was a common practice. Yes, Hungary continued to field cavalry units in WW2, still called hussars (huszárs) just like the famous Magyar and Croatian horse soldiers of the past. But they no longer carried sabers like back during WW1. In various forms, the term huszár has been adopted in many languages.
