I wonder about this foreign site, on the Hungarian side could not find such a precise description and photos from the hungarian armory under ww2

b) The T34 is a iconic statue in the 1956 hungarian revolution, the insurgents in 1956 occupied some of the russian tanks in 1956 hungarian - russian conflict,that’s why you can see the hungarian scutcheon on the russian T-34 tank in the video
This video is from a riot from Budapest from october 23rd of 2006, which escalated into bloody reprisals from the police at the end

On the morning of 23rd of october in 2006 the hungarian civilian mass staged a peacefully protest against the Hungarian Goverment and the protest going into a riot in the afternoon
The civilians attack the building of the hungarian television and beaten hard a few policeman to the hospital who try to protect the national television
Afer the civilians successfully occupied the television station made barricades at the streets and the bridges, and attack the police with Molotov cocktails, brick and rock pieces and wood and metal pipes

After the next second day in the afternoon the civilians stole a T34 from a musem this is what you see in the video
The second day night the police disbanded hardly the two day and night riot, with tear gas and rubber bullets and water canons, and the riot was over
Many of the insurgents go into the hospital because the police made a hard revenge for the previous day police officers beating: beaten hard the civilian peoples to hospital with batons that made some broken heads, arms and legs, and the police use rubber bullet shotguns, shoot around head height, that made blinded some of the peoples and the riot was over with not a few blood flow in the streets of Budapest

Anyway back to the original title: the typical hungarian WW2 tanks was the Turan I and the Turan II but the communist after the war melt down the remaining pieces, so hard to find a Turan tank today

Yeah, i heard there were a serious riots with victims. But what was the reason of uprising? I have no idea what could make the people take the museum tank and use it against police, imi?Is everything OK in EU? Is there democraty or what? :wink: Just another one USSR?

Hungary ceremony is every October 23,this is the starting date of the 1956 year Revolution
The 1956 Hungarian Revolution celebrated which at that time was directed against the Soviet occupation since hold the country still from 1945 after the war ended
The revolution started in 23rd of october 1956 Budapest and ended with hungarian faliure in 10th of november in 1956
A huge Soviet forces marched from the Soviet Union to supress the revolution what it did a lot hungarian civilian deaths required (about 3000 person died in the fights and later about 300 executed for taking part of the Revolution)
These civilians and insurgents deads every year we remember, those who fought for the freedom of the country against the Russian Soviet occupation in 1956

Back to 2006 riots
The 2006 riots were due a few violent people who love the circus, each event is always such, but this time the current government then began to scold and some of which emerged in the mass riot
In fact, the television building and attacked the policemens beating was not a nice thing for some hooligan, but the police the next day’s non official revenge was a very cruel: The police officers hit everyone,man or women or oldies, and have been beaten journalists who have not left the area with a loud warning given previously
The police use steel batons for beatings which resulted in many civilian people’s arms, legs and skull fracture, and use rubber bullet shotguns used at head height, some people eye shot out
Many people who were blinded or suffered serious injuries and denounced the police later, but the court can’t identify the police officers from the photos or videos because the police masks were up in their faces, their identification numbers and insignia they are removed beforehand from the uniforms when they score off the civilian mass

Today Hungary is a small and poor country who always need some financial help from the EU,without the EU financy we are a dead country
The whole country a catastrophe the youngsters and the doctors about 70% of emigrating abroad for a better life
The hungarian average salary now is around 280$ for the average workers wich is is very low and the prices are high, eastern payment - western prices.
In foreign countrys the hungarian average workers earn about 1,000 $ - 1300 $ around the same amount of work, the doctors earn about 1000$ here, in foreing lands earn about 3000 $ per month
(Now is the prime minister is Viktor Orban who have common private businesses with the Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin) and we are also in the European Union, so I leave to you the judgment of the country
Hungary is a free playground now everybody who have money almost all of the company’s foreign ownership
Now Hungary is based on tourism and the capitol Budapest night life prostitution and international mafia is rising

Well, if everything so bad , and the contemporary Hungary so poor and doomed countre- who is gult? Your local govenment or EU authories which imposed the rules? I also didn’t know there so big-scale emigration of manpower. I hear something about Poland , from my polish mate, the youngs still don’t see the perspectives in own motheland. SO -such is the EU:) So how do you think - have the Hungary persepctives in EU in economical integration or they should will better bet on personal economical an dpolitical partnership with non-EU states like Russia or China?

I think we don’t need anymore of any communist state,we must going our interest in the western countries
The European Union is the biggest help our country: the EU supports the creation of new hospitals, new roads, economic developments for millions of dollars in support so far in the EU to Hungary
Without the EU this country is nowhere to evolve, if dependned on Russia or China

Seems there is sort of logical contradiction- if the EU does so much kind - why then Hungarian economic in ruins? Why the hungarian doctors shall emigrate abroad for better life? Maybe coz the most rich countries of EU like Gemany, merely grabbs your for cheap menpower?

China sells the … all possible sort of modern technologies. Forgot about their 'poor quality". The contemporary chinese goods flood the markets in your city and all over world - the TVs, computers , clothes, everything.

No you can’t on definition. Your are not equal to the western countries in economical relations, coz you live by dotations. The western partners don’t interesting to sell you cheap resources becouse it mean they should lose the profit. Another factor not to let you to get resources - is the competition.
