Hungarians Process Soviet POW's

Most likely in Galicia, Hungarian Honveds are processing Russian prisoners of war in a makeshift camp, who readily surrendered in large numbers during 1941.

How did the Russian POWS fare with the Hungarians as compared to the Germans…which we know was bad…thanks

It’s difficult to know and I am just thinking out loud here. The Germans had better transport facilities and neither they nor the Hungarians had an oversupply of food at the front. But back home Hungary had enough food to go around and especially buxom peasant women had not bought into any type of übermensch stuff. But than the village lads were the rough and ready physical types and at the end many of the Arrow Cross guys were way out of control.
