Hey Guys. I saw a very wonderful movie …and and old one a while back . There was an M3 trapped in the sand . They had no water but neither did the afrika corp that they were faced off against. Awesome. The tank threw me. I wasnt really familiar with the lee Grant variant as I have been with the m4.I understand this tank had a seven man crew. Thank god for a/c huh ? kidding. It seemed a very heavily armed vehicle. The 75 didnt have much turnability but with the 37 it seemed pretty capable. Not to mention the deflecting armour in the front. Although too thin. This tank never made it to Sicily ? Were m3 crews retrained to use the m4? What about France. ? I am considering writing a fiction account of a crew on this vehicle but need info on its deployment. Anybody wanna help ? Is there anyone out there that rode one of these beasts ? Forgive my username.
