Anyone read that book? It’s about a German luftwaffe ace (58 kills) who survived the war (one of the few). It’s pretty good.
No i havent. What was his name(pilot)? Is that the name of the book “I flew for the furher.” Who wrote it? Sounds like it could be a good book.
On a side note I sent you a couple of PM’s did you get them?
On the Amazon no info about " I flew for the further"
I join Gen. Sandworm’s asking about the author.
I suspect you may have been using the wrong search terms.

Oh, and I still think Galland’s book is likely to be the best to come out of the Luftwaffe in WW2, if mainly for the high level politics it contains. For those of you who aren’t familiar with it it’s called “The First and the Last” ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0553117092/qid=1116432386/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl14/002-0850010-6867261?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 )
Thanks pdf27!
nice book
G’day
For those who are interested in this book, I Flew For The Fuhrer by Heinz Knoke was published by Corgi and is now out of print. Like Galland’s book, The First And the Last it sometimes crops up second hand.
Regards to all,
Digger.
