Hi all. I work for a military history/wargames publisher and one of our current projects is the 2nd edition of our WWII wargame rules - Battlegroup Panzer-Grenadier. We’ve more or less exhaaiusted the copyright free images we have and I’m trying to talk the publisher into going full colour this time. I really like the recoloured style that both Imi and Lex have been doing and think it would give the book a very interesting style with a load of those images in.
I am considering buying one of the packs advertised by the site owner regardless (well, trying to talk my boss into it!) but obviously these packs don’t contain the recoloured ones done by Imi and Lex.
Is it actually possible to buy those and who would we actually be buying them from if it was? I guess it’s a little murky as the rights on the recoloured images rest with Imi/Lex but the images are owned by the site owner?
I’m just the designer here, I don’t really handle the doing deals bit and the boss may prefer to pay in credit rather than cash for these as he is also a retailer. I can understand if that wasn’t good enough. As you can see from the website (link below) its a legitimate company with a pretty big selection of products that might be of interest to you, I’m sure we could work something out.
