Does the spam actually get through or is it not visible to the public?
I look up the username and check other sites where they have signed up. If the are spam links in any of those I ban them here. sometime they manage to sneak stuff into their signature lines or other parts of their member pages(whether on this site, or another). Not every site filters as well as this one.
I’m watching a new member dmbwayfarer, nothing in his other online memberships to indivate a spammer, but his posting history here has been 5 consecutive one liners responding to an older thread. So I’ll keep an eye on him for awhile. Post report will follow.
