A protester threw a shoe at Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao during a speech at Cambridge University on Monday, but the Chinese leader was unhurt, according to witnesses.
The protester was sitting in the crowd as Wen was speaking on the global economy. He threw the shoe after standing and shouting: “How can you listen to this unchallenged?”
A Reuters reporter at the event said the protester shouted: “How can the university prostrate itself with this dictator?”
Ha Ha Ha! Criminals, wether Hu or Wen, are being targeted by well-deserved shoes!
