Good coloring job. Gavin was commander of the US 82nd Airborne Division (“All Americans”) and Ridgeway commanded the XVIII Airborne Corp. The photo negative has been reversed. The unit patch should be on Gavin’s right upper arm. Ridgeway was nicknamed “Iron Tits” because of the two hand grenades he wore, a practice he continued while serving in the Korean War.
