Knocked out British Cromwell tank.(rudeerude)

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.ww2incolor.com/gallery/british-forces/27554/knocked-out

The crew of Cromwell "T187692", commanded by Lt. John Cloudsley-Thompson, survived the K.O. of their tank and they made it back to the British lines.

This is John Cloudsley-Thompson’s Cromwell, it was taken out by Wittmann in Villers-Bocage

Did he take it to a restaurant or to a dance-hall as well? Or do you mean it was destroyed by Wittmann, not taken out for a night on the town?
