Yeah it would be quick for sure, he might have been reading the letter and got distacted and for a moment lost tract of where he was and his mistake cost him dearly , really sad if thats what might have happined… one moment your happy and content, the next your life is ended. I’m sure it was quick. The exit wound would be a major size for sure, you can usally multiply the exit by 3-5 times the entrance size, depending on what caliber of rifle was used. I’ve got a friend that works for an Funneral home and he’s had to deal with trying to make the bodies presentable to the love one’s of vitim’s that have been shot in crime scene’s.
