I heard somewhere in WW2 Germans have 12 milions soldiers is that true?
During the entire course of the war. There were only 71 million people in germany…
But Germans had an allies. In many statistic, Romanian, Italian and e.t.c. forces often counted like Germans. 25 millions of SU soldiers also has a big mix including even French pilots armed with american planes

71 million imposible
yeah, they had great soldiers, but some of them had bad weapons and technology, like the italians.
french pilots with american planes in german army  what a mix!
according to the highly accaimed book normandy 44 by glantz, there were 490,000 germans on the western front and 2.6 million at the ostfront in july 1944, before cobra.
operation barborossa was around 2-3 million men.
the soviet union army suffered 29 million causalties(dead, wound, missing) in ww2…
i guess if you count the italian/rumanian/finnish army as part of the german army…
 Where is you take that numbers?! Link, please. Casualties of SU normally count about 20 - 25 millions by killied (direct number no one knows) INCLUDING casualties from civilian, not only Army. Btw, one of my friends, geologist, was working in nortern parts of Siberia and find there people who even don’t know that was a ww2! More than that, some of them, even don’t hear about communism! :?

He could ask you if the girls are hot in Alaska (if you are in NYC).
Ok, then. I don’t understand at first. In that look is true numbers. But normal Soviet historians don’t count wounded like casualties
