Lithuanian anti aircraft defences

Lithuanian army mashine gunners uses their MG 08 mashineguns in anti aircraft fire excersize. These guns has the belt containers and butstocks atached, which was the standart for MG08/15 but not MG 08. Some sources sugests, that some of the mashineguns of Lithuanian army was refurbished in Belgium, so maybe these features were installed then.

Really nice to see that so many photographs made it through WW2 and Soviet occupation. Nice pictures :slight_smile:

These are pre WW2, there is quaite a lot of pictures from Lithuania in war time and aftrewar, but the pictures of pre war Lithuania is more intresting, because there shows the army of indepedent Lithuania, and not the ocupying forces.
