I wish that Poland and Lithuania as well as Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Romania were allies together.Some dreams were only dreams.The fact is that,Poland was guilty of it.
Many people have shared your sentiments. Looking at the population figures, however, this sort of a "vertical alliance" would not be able to stand up to either Germany or Russia. So the peoples of the region have often decided to join forces in the course of history with countries from either West or East. The current version of this arrangement is NATO. But your wish will keep living on.
