Is the contrast way off? Looks more like snow camo on deceased German. Then not a match for Normandy.

Think it’s the contrast or taken with the sun to the photographers back since the wall to the right is also very white.

Or maybe the caption that it was Normandy is wrong?

Dunno, but it wouldn’t be the first misleading caption by this particular poster.
