Interesting to see how much effort was actually put into the development of mobile AA guns in the USA and some other countries of the Western Allies. I guess, if they would have had to fear the Luftwaffe more in the closing days, such tanks would have been used, as the concepts don’t look bad.

Even though this has suspension units similar to the M3 Stuart, it is a different hull design. As events turned out, the Allies found the best AA defence system of all: Total air superiority achieved by means of huge numbers of advanced fighter aircraft flown by well trained and well led pilots and suppoted by a reliable supply chain.
