An amusing message chalked on the side of an M3 half-track mounting a 75mm gun of the King's Dragoon Guards, operating as part of 'Porter Force' on the Adriatic coast near Ravenna, 1 December 1944.

From the rivet lines along the top of the sideplates, it appears that this is not an M3 but an M5, made by International Harvester Corp. If we could just see the front mudguard, that would be easy confirmation.
