Has anybody read this book yet? I’ve looked over a couple of reviews, and it seems that if you’re a WWII buff, you’ll like it. But if you’re looking for candor on why Capt. Sobel was such a c***, you won’t find it. I’m still raring to buy and read it, I nearly ran out tonight, but I just spent $100 of books a week ago and am behind on my reading due to work and Internet shenanigans…

I’ll probably read it some time down the road, though I have to say I don’t have too much of an expectation of it…the timing of that book seems to suggest the publisher’s desire to jump on the Band of Brothers bandwagon and make some quick bucks. Dick Winters did live an interesting life, so who knows, it might be a good book after all.

The book was good reading and some great stories .Capt Sobel went crazy after the war left his family and committed suicide
