I’m surprised that this hasn’t been mentioned, it went on for long enough. The Canberra squadrons from RAF Binbrook went to Malaya on six month detachments. The Lincolns were getting a bit long in the tooth and the Canberra B6 could carry nine one thousand pound bombs, the terrs’ didn’t like it one bit!
