At a prisoner-of-war enclosure near Remagen, Germany, a U.S. soldier takes part in keeping guard over thousands of German soldiers captured in the Ruhr area.I found this on Wikipedia as with the un-cropped version.

20 000 POWs?!! The actualy have captured over Million of GErman POWS as i know.
That uncropped version show a whole load more to the image then the cropped version, the amount of prisoners in it is staggering.
