Were they actually used?

Production of this tank began in 1928 and nine saw action in the Far East in border clashes with China. At the beginning of Barbarossa (1941) they were used as fixed firing points along the Polish and Romanian borders. They also took part in the large tank battle in the Rovno-Brodo-Kutsk area as part of the Soviet 11th Mechanized Corps.
