ME262 to fly again

ME262 to fly again

Just been shown this

http://www.stormbirds.com/project/index.html

It would seem that they intend to build and fly 262s with new engines.

Now all we need is to find one of the still flying meteors and compare

It seems they have have taken one for a flight in Germany already!!!

If I remember correctly, this would be because the people producing them originally went bust…
Interestingly they also state that production is strictly limited to 5 aircraft - I could have sworn that a few years ago when I last looked at the site the plan was to build a minimum of 10 aircraft.

I want one…

A german company also made brand new FW-190s ¡¡¡

somtimes i wonder why they are doing that?
are they putting them into operation again?
i mean like for tourists?

For instance:

This aircraft is currently flying in Virginia and will be at several air shows along the East Coast.
