Mickey Mouse boots vs. shoepacs.

Hi all,

Tonight is research night for me and I need some help. Does anybody have any links on shoepacs? Were the Mickey Mouse boots very different? Also, on the shoepacs, any ideas when they were first issued?

Any info would be much appreciated!!!

i also found out that these “mickey mouse boots” were issued in korea in 1951, when it was realized that shoepacs didnt measure up to the harsh conditions

Thanks! I’ve been working on this subject and it’s hard to find too many details. That site is great, reminds me of one of my DI’s.
