Is this the later actor Toshiro Mifune or a purely coincidental name match?
Hi Flamethrowerguy. This is THE Toshiro Mifune who spent the first 19 years of his life in China, having been born in Qingdao,China to Japanese parents. As a japanese citizen he was drafted into the Imperial Japanese Army Aviation where he served in the Aerial Photography (ko-type) Unit during WW2. Hope this answers your query!
