Napier-Railton

I drew something that is not a plane (shock/horror) :o

The Napier-Railton was built in 1933 by Thompson and Taylor for the record-breaking driver John Cobb.

It is powered by a Napier Lion W12 24 litre aircraft engine, has a 3 speed gearbox, and is capable of 168 mph. The fuel tank holds 65 gallons, and consumption is 5 mpg.

It holds the lap record at Brooklands, driven by John Cobb in 1935, achieving an average speed of 143 mph for the lap. This will stand in perpetuity as the Brooklands circuit is closed and the famous banking partly dismantled.

The Napier-Railton is still on display at the Brooklands Museum, and is in running order, with display runs being performed twice a year.

Its awesome but with these gas prices today, i wouldnt drive it
