How about those Japanese manning the Nuke Reactors! During the war we would have called them Kamikazes. There was much to criticize the Japanese during WWII but it can never be said they lack guts or a sense of nationalism.

they never lose their heart and they have a high sense of sacrifice. They day after the earthquake i’ve seen on the News Channel an interview, made few hours after the shake, with the Coach of the Japanese National Football Team, that is an Italian. He arrived in Japan just a couple of months ago and they provided for him a flat in Tokyo. He was surprised and amazed by their behaviour. He openly said that they don’t waiste time in crying or complainting, or to give themself up. After few minutes after the disaster they started to run, help each other, clean the streets from debris and ready to start again…
