those seem nice and all but it seems that they are missing some details. I am not completely sure if those are %100 real…
New ? did the US use chain link like that in WW2 - the Brits changed from cord to those chains at the end on the 1980’s on their dog tags

Kilroy I think you got a 1941/42/begin43 tag in your head. In the 41/42 tags are more stamps like the marriage and place but the war tags got only: the name, army serial number, the date, bloodgroup, religion
Well I have talked to people that know about these certain knowledge of dog tags and they side there quite similar. I they still have it in a similar layout today…

The chain looks a genuine WW2 type to me
