Norwegian SS

Himmler inspects Norwegian SS-volunteers. 6000 Norwegians was accepted into the Waffen-SS, and 900 of them fell on the Eastern Front. They fought in many different SS-Divisions, but most notably in the Wiking Division. After the war the veterans was punished by the Norwegian Socialist government and given harsh terms. Some veterans also lost their Norwegian citizenship and was forced to flee the country.
