... or indeed a Bronze Age hill fort. This is the German experimental aircraft/rocket range at Peenemunde on 2 September 1944, following heavy Allied bombing atacks. RAF aerial reconaissance 'photo, preserved in the (British )National Collection of Aerial Photography. Best regards, JR.
