A man on holiday in Australia was filmed pulling a shark away from some children and then releasing it back to sea.
Local media outlets claimed he was a hero and the film went viral.
Unfortunately both he and his wife were on sick leave at the time and on returning home to Wales found they’d been sacked.
Now irrespective of whether the sacking was correct, he ended his interview with a great comment:
“Where do I now get a job ? There’s not much call for shark wrestlers in Merthyr Tydfil.”
