Just a playful jab regarding the comment…didn’t the Allies win the war? Maybe Poland had a little help with that. :slight_smile:

Actually, Poland didn’t win anything. The war was won by the Allies and Poland didn’t get much from its efforts. And my comment isn’t very playful. As somebody who takes history seriously, I like the facts told as they are and someone that isn’t all that knowledgeable about the war could look at this photos and really believe that Poland had a great hand in winning the war. Poland gave some help to the Allies, but alone they never stood a chance, which is why they were completely overrun by Germany in 1939.
