I was reading in my book An Illustrated History of World War II and it was talking about this operation the Germans engaged in. It said that 5 German U-Boats gathered off the shore of the east coast of america and sank any tanker or supply ship. It said that 35 vessels were sank between New Jersey to Florida. I have the page that read that and I will scan them ASAP. This was also called the German U-Boat “Happy Time”
