I have one that came with my P-38 that has the eagle and swastika stamp. And Dresden 1940. Above,is what looks like, (in an arch) a company or logo? It is mixed with the stiching and is hard to make out. Any ideas??
Would you mind posting a picture? It might help some make it out better.

Maybe that was used also for holsters.
Check the holsters on this page: http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/uniforms_firearms/firearms/p38/p38index.htm

Dani, Thanks for the sites. I found what I was wanting to know.
C.Heinichen is it.
(Carl) Thanks!!
Glad to help you.
For posting a picture, here it is an off-topic guide:
- Make sure that you have a picture in a digital format (as a file).
- Try to decrease the size of that file through an Graphic editor/viewer. I will post some about Irfan View (I use it and it is freeware). Open the file (picture) in Irfan View. On File menu select Batch Conversion / Rename. Click on “Set advance options”. Click on “Resize”. Choose “Set new size as percentage of original”. Choose on “Width” and “Height” the same percentage. … Now you have a smaller file (tens or maximum hundreds of kB).
- Using a picture free hosting server (like www.imageshack.us) you could upload the file.
- Between [img] tags you should copy the link given by that server.
Thanks Dani. I’ll give it a shot!
