Aug 25th 1944, Paris was liberated, apparently by the Free french, although Im sure the other allies helped.

too me they look like Nazi’s and if so stop being harsh

The same thing was done with Paris as what was done with Berlin. The US/UK allowed the French to recapture/liberate it for reasons of pride probably.
