Very good set of photos, rudeerude. This 3 civilian casualties were killed when an unexploded U.S. anti-aircraft round fell back to earth and burst on impact (you can see that the hits are from diferent angles and sizes, consistent with the impact of schrapnel), other civilians died from japanese bombs and strafing. Civilian casualties in the attack were 103: 68 killed and 35 wounded. Source: “Life World War II: History’s greatest conflict in pictures”.
