Hi there ! :smiley:

Now this photo came as a bit of a surprise!
I was gathering among a number of photos in my dad’s box, all shots about family weddings,
meetings, trips and so on. Kinda boring.
Then this one came along, with no caption whatsoever.

I believe these to be partisans, I may suggest Yugoslavian.
Can’t recognize anyone of them (they all look extremely young, apart the guy in the middle).
My dad’s no longer around to provide explanation, nore is any relative.
I may never get to know who these guys are, but I thought sharing the photo with you.

Looks to me, the man standing on the left of the photo, is holding the British SMLE, front centre kneeling with the stick grenade, looks to have the Russian Nagant Rife, they were very brave young men.
