Piasecki's PV-2

Hi all,

Up late tonight doing research on Piasecki who passed away a short time ago. One of the pioneers in helicopter aviation, he designs include the famous “flying banana”. Thought you might be interested in his link to WW2. Here’s a pic I found and some links.

I prefer the fl282 kolibori. Go to www.fiddlersgreen.net and they have paper models of the pv2 and the fl282 and others.

Have you ever gotten the CD from them? I was tempted too as I know it contains scads of the models.

No. but I print the little jpgs for free.

I tried those small ones, my fumblefingers just couldn’t do it…I tried really…

Have you seen this site:

The one model available I think is outlined in pink…it’s been a while since I’ve downloaded some of them.

Yhea. The password is “trotskiy” my PDF reader was a bit outdated and couldnt open the PDF.

OH man…that’s right…I forgot about the password. I wonder why the site is passworded anyway…

The designs are great though…thanks for the update!
