Pilots of 14th air force having lunch

Pilots of 14th air force were having lunch in LiangShan base,1943. The "picture" on the back of the jacket is Chinese national flag with this sentence:Foreign allies to help us ,all people must help the pilot when he is in danger.

I’m Chinese and I found it’s interesting to share some things I know about this.
The writing on the back of the Soldier is originally"来华助战洋人,军民一体救护"(Lai hua zhu zhan yang ren,jun min yi ti jiu hu). Some of these might be written in different Chinese sentences, as they’re written from different hands, but what they means is almost the same.
The Flag above the writing is the flag of Republic of China(1912-1949). At that time, many Chinese can’t read, they put this flag here to make sure that even if someone who can’t read find the pilot, they can also know he is friendly and offer him help.
Hope this can help!
Regards!
