PLM & RK winners

Among the German soldiers who fought in both world wars, there were a selected few who receive Germany highest honor in WWI, the PLM and it’s highest honor in WW2 the RK, here a list of them:

Nice pictures Ingsoc, I know most of them but I have no idea that Udet was awarded wth the RK…I wonder why ? , they did not contribute too much to the war effort or fought a fierce battle.
