Excellent photos. This is the Musée des Blindés at Saumur/France I assume?

Great Munster (I presume) pics!
Anybody have Maus from Kubinka?

I Think i may have posted this link before, but its easier to do rather than link in all the photos direct.

Taken this summer.

Not really from a museum but one of my favourite tanks I got close to. The Panther of Houffalize/Belgium.

More from Saumur,Munster & Overloon

I wouldn’t have thought that so many Tiger II had been recovered.

There are photos of 7 King Tigers , with at least one in Moscow Kublika Tank Museum .

The fourth one from the left in the upper row is the Tiger II of the “Kampfgruppe Peiper” in La Gleize/Belgium.

most of them probably all broke down before they reached the battlefield?
even the damaged ones would seem to indicate it that disabling one was much easier than destroying one?

with regard to the two at bovington, i think it said they were retrieved from the factory or proving grounds.

also, they have to be pretty good indicators of what an ideal combat tank should have been (not withstanding reliability and production issues etc), imagine the difference if these had been produced in Detroit under American production conditions!

The Tiger with transport tracks doesn’t look half the beast it should
